Recycle Your Christmas Trees on 1/7/17

On Saturday, January 7th from 10 am - 4 pm, we will once again partner with UC Green at Clark Park to recycle Christmas trees into wood chip mulch. Help us set a new record for Christmas trees! The mulch will be used around trees during the upcoming MLK Day of Service.

While you're waiting for the chipper to fire up, enjoy free roasted marshmallows and hot chocloate, plus enjoy the Clark Park Farmers' Market. A $10 to $20 suggested donation per tree will go toward supporting UC Green programs. 

Unlike previous years, we will not be accepting electronics at this event. We recommend heading to the nearest sanitation convenience center located at 5100 Grays Avenue Monday through Saturday, from 8 am to 6 pm.
