Mural artist Karl Yoder has painstakingly rendered two trolley images from yesteryear. The top image is a view from a trolley looking out from the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. The bottom image is a turn-of-the-century streetscape of a trolley outside the Reading Terminal Market. The completion of the mural marks the beginning of UCD's multi-year initiative to support University City's commercial corridors, beginning with Baltimore Avenue. The work was sponsored by University City District.
