Poetic Arts Performance Project presents a poetry-for-kids event at the University City Arts League - April 25

On Saturday, April 25 2009 from 5-10 pm, the Poetic Arts Performance Project presents an  intergenerational poetry festival to benefit Rubye's Kids. The event will consist of performances featuring poets of all ages: kids, teens, and adults.

The performance will be held at the University City Arts League 4226 Spruce St. Philadelphia, PA 19104.

Music will be provided by Alien Architect and band, Jesse Schurr, Forgotten Fall, the Dobbins High School Band, High School for the Creative and Performing Arts Jazz Band, DJ Meora, and the Imaginary Band.
 
The performance will spotlight young poets, including the High School for the Creative and  Performing Arts Poets, Dobbins High School Poets, and many more. Also appearing will be Quiet Rage, Frank Walsh and cohorts, members of the Poetic Arts Performance Project,  St. Skribbly Lacroix, Alla V. Lynn Blue, Adam "Naked" Meora, Greg Bem, Debrah Morkun, Ebony Collier, Ian Wolf, Sydney Coffin, Jen Kramny, Tamara Oakman, John Timpane and  more.
 
The event will be a Pot Luck: Bring food, goodies, and drinkables.
