In the continuing wave of alfresco markets to sprout in Philadelphia this summer, for one day only, the lively alfresco community space The Porch at 30th Street Station will transform into a full-fledged craft fair.

On Saturday, June 15, University City District and VIX Emporium will team up to bring more than 50 artists and crafters to show at the 30th Street Craft Market.

After a successful first run this past February inside Amtrak’s 30th Street Station, the University City craft market is ready to take it outside.

In The Porch’s largest event to date, shoppers will find lovely locally made wares including jewelry, prints, ceramics and children’s gifts by more than 50 crafters.

No one will go hungry, either, with food trucks MacMart, Vernalicious and Lil’ Dan’s set to serve up eats to the crowd, and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream on hand for dessert.

Plus, jam out to the Balkan sounds of the West Philadelphia Orchestra from noon to 2 p.m.

Check out the full lineup of vendors here, and get a taste of who’s selling what with VIX’s ongoing series of vendor profiles here.
