Philly is now Single Stream!

Single-stream recycling is now city-wide! So join in and put cans, glass, mixed paper, plastic containers and cardboard out at the curb in the same recycling bin. It’s more than putting your recyclables together. It’s a city working together. Learn more

What
Metal: Tin and aluminum cans, empty aerosol cans, empty paint cans
Glass: Jars and bottles
Mixed Paper: Newspaper, magazines, mail, phone books, food boxes and more.
Plastic Containers: #1 and #2 plastics (mostly beverage and detergent containers).
Cardboard: Empty and flattened.

How

Put all recyclables together in any hard-sided bin.
