We are deeply grateful to Bank of America for their recent $100,000 grant for our West Philadelphia Skills Initiative. The generous grant is part of Bank of America's philanthropic giving efforts in local communities. Awardees were selected for their commitment to addressing basic needs, medical response, and workforce development for individuals and families.

This latest funding pushes Bank of America's total investment in our Skills Initiative program to over $600,000 since 2013. It is the largest gift from Bank of America since 2016, when they selected us as the 2016 market recipient for Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders® award, the coveted grant given to support high-performing nonprofits making a significant impact in the community. This selection comes at a time when our current results for FY22, seen below, are among the strongest in our 10+ years of operation.

Bank of America is guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better, through the power of every connection. An important part of this work is forming strong partnerships with nonprofits and advocacy groups, such as community, consumer, and environmental organizations, to bring together our collective networks and expertise to achieve greater impact. We are deeply grateful for their continued support of the Skills Initiative.
