May 2019 at The Porch at 30th Street Station

Apr 30, 2019 13 months ago

We have an exciting month at The Porch at 30th! This month we have a great selection of food trucks vending lunch each weekday, plus we'll be working on three exciting additions to The Porch!

  • From May 28th through the 26th, we'll be hosting the StoryCorps MobileBooth, a recording studio housed within a converted Airstream trailer, at The Porch! While there, StoryCorps staff, in partnership with WHYY, will meet with locals for meaningful conversations that will be preserved in the StoryCorps Archive in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. To record, participants must make an appointment, which will open on Tuesday, May 14th at 10am. Click here to learn more.
  • May will also see the return of the Pub at The Porch, our outdoor drinking destination run by Bridgewater's Pub. Now located on the western edge of The Porch, the Pub will open in late May and serve drinks Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings. Stay tuned for an opening date and more details soon!
  • Finally, we'll be installing a new structure that will be perfect for lounging, relaxing, and recharging both yourself and your cell phone. More details coming soon!
