September at The Porch at 30th Street Station brings free weekly lunchtime performances presented by PECO, the adding of final touches to the new Pavilion at The Porch, post-work drinks three nights a week at the Pub, and of course a daily selection of food trucks. 

  • Thanks to a partnership with PECO, we are bringing back free, weekly lunchtime performances to The Porch! Through the end of September, we'll be presenting an eclectic mix of music, dance and more to The Porch. The schedule for September will be:
    • Tuesday, September 10th: Philippine Folk Arts Society String Ensemble 
      • ​PFASI is an ensemble rendition of music from around the world showcasing 14 string instruments from the Philippines.
    • Thursday, September 19th: URIOL Korean Percussion
      • Come hear traditional Korean drumming played by a group of Philadelphians — guaranteed to get you hyped! An extraordinary feast for both the ears and the eyes!
    • Tuesday, September 24th: Belleville Quartet
      • ​An eclectic mix of swing jazz and Eastern European folk music.  

 

 

 

In September, the Pub at The Porch, now located on the western edge The Porch, will vend Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 4 pm - 8 pm. Bring some friends and enjoy a cold drink outdoors! 

As for food trucks, make sure to keep an eye on our Twitter page for updates and cancelations

Mondays:

  • Dos Hermanos - Tacos, burritos, and other authentic Mexican specialties 
  • Baby Blues BBQ - Italian sandwiches, Arancini rice balls, and other specialties 

Tuesdays:

  • Have a Ball - Meatball-inspired items plus Philly and Italian classics 
  • Royal Zarasa Southern-style comfort food including dishes like wings, chicken & waffles, and shrimp & grits

Wednesdays:

  • Roasted Liberties - Truck specializing in rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, and wraps
  • Bad Mother Shuckers - Fresh surf fare including oysters (on the half shell and Po' boys), crab hush puppies, and more

Thursdays:

  • Schmear It (Breakfast) - Philly's first and only food truck serving bagels with personalized, custom-crafted cream cheese schmears
  • Foolish Waffles - Award-winning sweet and savory waffles creations
  • Deke's BBQ - Slow-cooked BBQ sandwiches and platters 

Fridays: 

  • Pitruco Pizza - Brick oven pizza specialists serving made-to-order 12" Neopolitan style pies
  • PaperMill Foods - Fresh, Asian-inspired menu of bowls, Banh Mis, and the original Spurrito (spring roll burrito)
