Vice-President of Strategic Advancement

University City District (UCD) seeks an experienced, creative and entrepreneurial professional to elevate and amplify the organization’s mission: “changing places and changing lives.” The Vice President of Strategic Advancement will shape and lead UCD’s interface with the outside world by engaging with external partners and stakeholders, and overseeing functions that include: strategic partnerships, resource development, communications, public events, replication of successful work, a data and policy initiative and new initiatives that push the boundaries of UCD’s work. This new position – formed by combining several existing UCD departments - reports to the UCD President and serves as a key member of the UCD senior management team.

Human Resources Director

University City District (UCD) is seeking a skilled human resources professional with an innovative and strategic approach to be its inaugural Human Resources Director. The optimal candidate will be someone who can serve as both a collaborative strategist on the executive team, as well an a supportive liaison for staff members and external vendors. UCD is a dynamic organization dedicated to amplifying the public space and opportunities in West Philadelphia, and the next executive to lead its human resources strategy and essential functions must be passionate about developing consistent onboarding and training structures that support a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
