UCD Professional Clothing Drive

From December 1st - 16th, UCD will be accepting donations of professional apparel for men and women at our offices. Please drop off all items at 3940 Chestnut Street, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5 pm. All donations are tax deductible.

Donations will be sent to Career Wardrobe, a social enterprise that uses clothing and professional development to empower individuals to work. This past fiscal year, Career Wardrobe outfitted nearly 3,000 job-seeking men and women, including participants from UCD's job training program, the West Philadelphia Skills Initiative. Your donation will ensure that these job-seekers feel professional and confident, and ready to make a great impression at a job interview or on the job.

We are accepting the following:

WOMEN'S ITEMS

• Professional Apparel: Full Suits, Suit Separates (Blazers, Dress Pants, Skirts), Dresses, Blouses, Tops, Cardigans, Khakis)
• Fashion/High-End Apparel: Tops, Denim, Dresses, Cardigans, Blouses, Dresses, Jackets
• Professional and Fashion Accessories: Handbags, Shoes, Scarves, and Jewelry

MEN'S ITEMS

• Professional Apparel: Dress Shirts, Suit Jackets, Dress Pants, Khakis
• Professional Accessories: Ties, Belts, Dress Shoes, Pocket Squares

Items should be clean and in good condition. Please bring donations on hangers or in shopping bags. Upon drop-off, we will ask you to turn in a Clothing Donation Receipt, which you can either download here beforehand or upon donation. Not sure what your items may be worth?
