Before the Pilot Program Begins
Thank you for your participation in the Transit Subsidy Pilot Program. Please complete all of the following steps no later than February 29:
  1. Click here to officially confirm your participation in the program.
  2. Please purchase a monthly SEPTA pass for March 2020 and email a photo of your receipt to [email protected] or submit a photo of the receipt at this link.
    • For most participants living within the city of Philadelphia boundaries, the SEPTA monthly Transpass loaded on a SEPTA Key will be appropriate. For those living outside of city limits planning to commute via SEPTA Regional Rail, a SEPTA monthly Trailpass loaded on a SEPTA Key will be more appropriate. For personalized details, see the notification email sent to you by UCD on February 17. 
    • A SEPTA monthly pass for March 2020 may be purchased beginning February 20 at any of the listed sales locations. A SEPTA Key kiosk is also conveniently located at the SEPTA Travel Center on the first floor of the Penn Bookstore at 3601 Walnut Street.
    • Please note that you may not use any employer or corporate discounts to purchase the SEPTA monthly pass while participating in the pilot program.
  3. Please suspend your payroll deduction for parking through your employer by February 29. If you are a CHOP employee, please email [email protected]. If you are a Penn or Penn Medicine employee, please email [email protected]. In your email, please note that you are participating in the UCD Transit Subsidy Pilot Program.
 
 

 

During the Pilot Program
  • Participants will need to renew their SEPTA passes for April and May 2020 after purchasing their original pass for March 2020. Pass renewal can be done at any of the listed sales locations. A SEPTA Key kiosk is also conveniently located at the SEPTA Travel Center on the first floor of the Penn Bookstore at 3601 Walnut Street. Remember to keep your receipt.
  • Each month, participants must submit receipts to UCD for reimbursement. Please email a photo of your receipts to [email protected] or submit a photo of the receipts at this link.
  • Should you choose to take advantage of UCD’s offer to reimburse daily parking up to five (5) times per month during the duration of the Transit Subsidy Pilot Program, please submit receipts to UCD for reimbursement. Please keep in mind:
    • UCD will provide a maximum reimbursement of $100 per month for no more than five (5) days of daily parking
    • Daily parking must occur in a visitor parking facility with your employer
    • The monthly allowance of five (5) days per month cannot be carried over between months
