EARLY 2013 PROGRAMMING ANNOUNCED FOR THE PORCH AT 30TH STREET STATION

University City District’s second season at The Porch to kick off with a variety of live music, fitness programs, food trucks and a beer garden, interactive art and more.

(Philadelphia, PA) – Once a congested parking lane and bland, barren sidewalk, The Porch at 30th Street Station has quickly become one of the most animated public places in Philadelphia, with amenities such as abundant and comfortable seating, sun and shade, trees and plantings, and a plethora of ongoing events beginning in April. Adjacent to the second busiest train station in the country, between two magnificent historic buildings and within 1,200 feet of over 16,000 jobs, The Porch is part of a key gateway to the Philadelphia region. University City District (UCD) is pleased to announce the activities and festivities for the month of April. All events are free.
