Celebrate Dirt Day at the Dirt Factory on April 23

Join The Dirt Factory and Soil Kitchen on Saturday, April 23rd and give your garden a boost with some high quality organic compost. The Dirt Factory will be distributing up to 10 gallons per person of screened compost produced from University City’s fallen leaves and food scraps. Bring your soil for testing of lead, cadmium and arsenic levels by the Soil Kitchen. All participants receive a consultation on their test results, and free soup! Soil Kitchen is sponsored by Year of Discovery, University of Pennsylvania.
