At the rate that new farmers markets are popping up, you'll soon be able to visit one in University City any day of the week. But if you're heading out of town, go today and pickup food for your long holiday weekend. The new Friday market will run through early November, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 33rd and Market Streets, in front of the Drexel Recreation Center, rain or shine.  Frecon Farms will bring seasonal fruits and vegetables (currently featuring cherries, blueberries and sweet corn) as well as jarred fruit butters, select coffees, fruit ciders and more. And the Drexel Tuesday market will continue to run through November 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of MacAlister Hall (33rd and Chestnut Streets). That market features King's Dutch Country Goods with fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, and a variety of baked goods, canned and preserved fruits and vegetables
