2019 Schedule

8/9: Solo: A Star Wars Story
This fast and fun film from 2018 introduces crowds to a young Han Solo years before his adventures with Luke Skywalker and company. Ron Howard directs the story of Han finding adventure when he joins forces with a gang of galactic smugglers and a 190-year-old Wookie named Chewbacca. Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos, the crew devises a daring plan to travel to the mining planet Kessel to steal a batch of valuable coaxium. In need of a fast ship, Solo meets Lando Calrissian, the suave owner of the perfect vessel for the dangerous mission -- the Millennium Falcon. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, and Woody Harrelson.

8/16: Crazy Rich Asians
Rachel Chu is happy to accompany her longtime boyfriend, Nick, to his best friend's wedding in Singapore. She's also surprised to learn that Nick's family is extremely wealthy and he's considered one of the country's most eligible bachelors. Thrust into the spotlight, Rachel must now contend with jealous socialites, quirky relatives and something far, far worse -- Nick's disapproving mother. This smash hit features Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh, plus Ken Jeong and Awkwafina in supporting roles.

8/23: Creed II
In 1985, Russian boxer Ivan Drago killed former U.S. champion Apollo Creed in a tragic match that stunned the world. Against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa, Apollo's son Adonis Johnson accepts a challenge from Drago's son -- another dangerous fighter. Under guidance from Rocky, Adonis trains for the showdown of his life -- a date with destiny that soon becomes his obsession. Starring Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, and Dolph Lundgren.

8/30: Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse
This star-studded winner of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature follows teen Miles Morales as struggles to live up to the expectations of his father, police officer Jefferson Davis, who sees Spider-Man as a menace. After becoming Spider-Man himself, Miles crashes into Spider-Mans from other realities in a visually stunning, funny, and heartfelt story. Starring the voice talents of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, John Mulaney, Nicolas Cage, and Liev Schreiber.
