Valentine’s Card Making at The Philly Soapbox

Looking for a creative way to celebrate Valentine’s Day? The Philly Soapbox is hosting three hands-on card-making workshops throughout February, including letterpress printing (Feb 7 at 2 PM), risograph cards (Feb 10 at 6:30 PM), and cyanotype cards (Feb 14 at 10 AM). Each workshop offers a chance to make unique, handmade cards using different printmaking techniques. Register below!

48th St. Grille offers Special Menu

If your love language is dinner plans, 48th Street Grille (310 S 48th St.) is serving up a special Valentine’s Day menu. The special lineup includes jerked roast rack of lamb, blackened rib eye steak and favorites like Jamaican braised oxtail and banana pudding cheesecake.

Renata’s Kitchen (3940 Baltimore Ave) is leaning into the season with Sea of Love, a Valentine’s Day–only five-course tasting menu inspired by the flavors of the sea and curated by Chef Yasser Aiq. Whether you’re celebrating with a partner, friends, or just treating yourself, this cozy, candle-lit dinner runs Saturday, February 14 from 4 PM to close for $65 per person. Reservations are open, seating is limited, and love is definitely on the menu!

Looking for a Valentine’s Day moment that feels thoughtful, local, and a little poetic? Take a ride along Market Street and experience A Love Letter for You, one of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s most iconic public art projects.

Created by West Philly native Steve Powers, the series spans 50 rooftop murals from 45th to 63rd Street, best viewed from the Market-Frankford Line. Together, the murals read as a love letter between people, neighborhoods, and the city itself.
