LARGE ARTS AND CRAFT FAIR RETURNS TO THE PORCH AT 30th STREET STATION

More than 30 local craft vendors, food trucks and live music will be on hand

(Philadelphia, PA) – University City District (UCD) and VIX Emporium are pleased to announce the 30th Street Craft Market at The Porch at 30th Street Station, on Saturday, October 5, 11am-4pm.

Visitors will find unique crafts made in the Philadelphia region including jewelry, prints, ceramics, clothing and much more at the 30th Street Craft Market. More than 30 local artisans will be joined by three of our favorite food trucks/vendors – Mac Mart, Weckerly’s Ice Cream, and the new Schmear It – and live music by the West Philly Orchestra. This could be The Porch’s largest event yet!

The following is a selection from October’s exciting list of participating vendors:

• Indican: tribal inspired, bold, chunky jewelry made of natural elements
• RachelInk: playfully illustrated note cards
• Tadpole Creations: hand sewn children's toys and apparel
• Phea Jean: colorful clothing and accessories for women, incorporating vintage materials
• Stinky Girl Beauty: handmade, all-natural deodorants and hair treatments
• Mud & Maker: home goods made of reclaimed materials, pottery, jewelry
• Anna Beau Designs: hand fabricated jewelry made of sterling silver, brass, and bezel set stones
• Basement Press: letterpress stationery from vintage printing plates as well as new designs
• Threet Ceramics: hand built one-of-a-kind ceramics
• On3 Designs: hand printed, hand constructed handbags and accessories
