UCD’S annual Holiday Hooplah returns this season with a curated collection of offerings from businesses across University City. We’re excited to share local businesses offering giftable goodies, special services, and seasonal treats…all in one easy place for easy browsing!

Haraz Coffee House: For the month of December,  buy $100 gift card get $10 gift card for free, spend $50 for a tumbler and choice of your coffee or chai bag in a custom tote, or spend $50 half dozen donuts and box of chai or coffee for the holidays. 

Lulu Cafe – Visit the Mobile App for deals and discounts, including gift card deals (get a $115 gift card for just $100!). All month long, enjoy their unique winter drink – a tiramisu cafe latte – and new bento box recipes featuring jumbo taipei street taco & three cup chicken over rice. 

Sabrina’s Cafe University City – Now through December 31, enjoy 10% off every $50 gift card. Their University City location is also accepting reservations for groups of 8–20 people, Monday through Friday, through January 9.

Lee’s Deli: Holiday season is here and so are Lee’s Deli’s famous carrot cakes. Lee’s Deli is proudly offering fresh carrot cakes from The Carrot Cake Man for the holidays, available while supplies last.  You can also order through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub. Manzanita: Manzanita Vintage Boutique & Gift Shop is fully decked out for the season with candles, garlands, and a shop full of giftable finds for everyone on your list. The store also continues to serve as a drop-off spot for the West Philly Food Drive throughout the holidays, welcoming canned and non-perishable donations. Beginning the week of 12/1, Manzanita extends its holiday hours: Tuesday–Friday 11 AM–7 PM, and Sundays 11 AM–6 PM.

Plant and People: From now through December 31, you’ll find signature holiday beverages at the cafe and $5 Plants for Hurricane Relief for Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica.
