Weeknights Live will Bring Free Music on Wednesdays to Four Local Baltimore Avenue Businesses

Calling all music lovers! Thanks to the Weeknights Live initiative from the Department of Commerce’s Nighttime Economy Unit through Creative Philadelphia, Wednesday nights on Baltimore Avenue are about to get a lot more lively! Weeknights Live is a year-round program to energize early-week evenings through live performances from local artists at participating restaurants.

This exciting new program builds on the success of a pilot in the fall of 2025 to bring live music to hotel lobbies in Center City. After the success of that program, organizers wanted to extend the series to three local commercial corridors: Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia on Monday nights, Center City on Tuesday nights, and Baltimore Avenue on Wednesday nights.

UCD helped connect the Department of Commerce to four Baltimore Avenue businesses to start: Renata’s Kitchen, Dahlak, Carbon Copy, and Booker’s Restaurant & Bar. Keep an eye on the social pages for each restaurant for details and updates on performers, and check out the page on the Creative PHL website to keep up with news and updates!
