Basket Weaving at the Soapbox Community Print Shop & Zine Library

Learn the basics of basketry in this introductory workshop focused on twining with reed. You’ll practice starting a base, building up the walls, and leave with your own finished small basket. The session is led by Soapbox member and teaching artist Olivia Caro, whose work in papermaking and book arts explores identity and home, and who has taught at studios and schools across the country. Registration is $65 for Soapbox members and $70 for non-members, with all materials included.
