Spring 2022 Food Trucks, Performances, and Pop-ups at The Porch

Spring has sprung, which means food trucks, performances, and pop-ups are returning to The Porch at 30th Street Station! Beginning Tuesday, April 19th, we're welcoming food trucks Tuesday-Friday for lunchtime vending from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

To celebrate the new season, we're throwing a kick-off party featuring live music from SNACKTIME PHILLY and free tacos from Burrito Feliz! On Wednesday, April 27th from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM, guests are invited to hear popular local brass band SNACKTIME PHILLY liven up The Porch with their upbeat grooves. Additionally, the first 50 guests can enjoy two free tacos from Burrito Feliz, while supplies last. The music is presented by SEPTA Sounds, our 2022 performance partner, and the tacos from Burrito Feliz are powered by PECO, who will present pop-ups and impacts throughout the upcoming season! Click here to RSVP on Facebook!

For food trucks through the end of May, our schedule will be: 

  • Tuesdays: Deke's BBQ serving slow-cooked BBQ favorites
  • Wednesdays: Burrito Feliz slinging Mexican menu items including some of the city's best birria tacos
  • Thursdays: Two Street Sammies offering traditional Philadelphia sandwich options including cheesesteaks, roasted pork, and more
  • Fridays: Pitruco brick oven pizza specializing in gourmet 12" Neopolitan style pizzas

 

We're thrilled to partner with SEPTA Sounds and PECO on performances and pop-ups at The Porch this season. Here's what to look forward to in April and May: 

  • Dan Blacksberg's Freilachs Music Presented by SEPTA Sounds | Wednesday, May 4th at 12:30 PM. Dan Blacksberg brings a joyous energy drawn from this Jewish musical tradition performed by the world’s leading klezmer musicians. With his trombone at the forefront, Dan carves out an exciting and unique sound in the music that anyone can dance to. RSVP.
  • Free Flower Giveaway from Snapdragon Flowers, a PECO Pop-up | May 4th at 12:30 PM. We're welcoming our friends from Snapdragon Flowers for a celebration of spring! Stop by The Porch starting at 12:30 for free small bouquets of seasonal flowers, while supplies last. RSVP.
  • Honeychile & Friends Presented by SEPTA Sounds | May 18th at 12:30 PM. Under the moniker of Honeychile, Philadelphia-based musician, singer, and songwriter Becca Graham explores themes of identity and coming-of-age by taking on the roles of a hip-hop emcee and a jazz and blues diva. Join Honeychile & Friends for an eclectic set featuring original songs, electronic mash-ups, and a few Philly favorites. RSVP.
  • Free Mini Plant Giveaway from STUMP Powered by PECO | May 26th at 12:30 PM. Stop by The Porch starting at 12:30 PM and add a little green to your home or office with a free mini plant from local shop STUMP, while supplies last. Limit one per customer. RSVP.
