OCTOBER:

Events

We also have two exciting performances from Orchestra 2001 coming up in October.

October 13, noon and 1pm

Led by composer Jay Krush, an Orchestra 2001 ensemble of trumpets, French horns, trombones, and one percussionist will play pieces spanning several centuries including music by Philip Glass and the premiere of Krush’s own “Kaleidoscope.” As part of our “IN THE KEY OF L: Music Along SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line” series, these concerts are supported by the Presser Foundation and Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia.

October 20, noon and 1pm

Orchestra 2001 guitarist Matt Davis will perform jazz, popular music, and some of his own compositions. As part of our “IN THE KEY OF L: Music Along SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line” series, these concerts are funded in large part by the Presser Foundation and Musical Fund Society of Philadelphia.
