In 2015 UCD debuted Movies in Clark Park, our annual series of outdoor films planned in partnership with the Friends of Clark Park and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation.

For 2026, as a nod to the 250th anniversary of America, we’ll be screening four films tied to the theme of “Freedom.” We asked the community to help us decide, and after tallying 100s of votes, we’re pleased to share this year’s lineup and schedule!

Movies are screened at dusk in the Clark Park bowl during fair weather. We’re reserving Friday, September 4th, 2026 as a rain date to show one film if needed.
