Restaurants in University City have a plan to boost sales in an ordinarily slow summer season.

Some 30 restaurants will participate in University City Dining Days, from July 18 to Aug. 1.

Participating restaurants will include Dock Street Brewery, Jose Garces’ Distrito and JG Domestic, Han Dynasty, Harvest and Doc Magrogan Oyster House, among many others.

Restaurants will offer three-course meals at levels of $15, $25 or $35, depending on the place.

Dining Days, which is in its ninth year, has typically juiced-up summer sales, boosting them by as much as 50 percent.

Restaurants are encouraging patrons to make reservations.

Dining Days is produced by the nonprofit University City District.
