The Porch

Spring has sprung, which means food trucks, performances, and pop-ups are returning to The Porch at 30th Street Station! Beginning Tuesday, April 19th, we're welcoming food trucks Tuesday-Friday for lunchtime vending from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Happy spring! In April we're welcoming back a full slate of food trucks vending lunch each weekday. In April we're bringing in five brand new trucks to The Porch, plus breakfast each Thursday morning from Schmear It. See below for descriptions of each truck and the full schedule. We hope you'll join us for lunch as the weather gets nicer!

Mondays:

Spring has finally arrived in Philadelphia, which means increased activity at The Porch at 30th Street Station! In May we'll once again welcome two trucks a day for weekday lunchtime vending. Schmear It will continue operating each weekday morning from the pop-up in the center of The Porch. And on May 2nd, we're reopening the Pub at The Porch for after-work drinks on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays! See the full schedule below for food trucks and special events below.

Through February, The Porch will feature fewer options for outdoor lunch due to the cold weather. Two trucks will vend each week for lunch and our friends from Schmear It will set up shop in the pop-up in the center of The Porch each morning.

The Porch at 30th Street Station is about to get a lot more festive thanks to a new "Spread Holiday Cheer" campaign, a collaboration with Project HOME and Schmear It. For three weeks in December, from the 4th through the 22nd, UCD is hosting a special, holiday pop-up in the center of The Porch at 30th Street. The pop-up will enliven UCD's flagship public space while contributing to the fight against homelessness in Philadelphia.

May is a great time to enjoy The Porch! All month long we'll welcome two food trucks each weekday to serve lunch at The Porch at 30th. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 2 pm. Also check out Schmear It serving up hot bagels and coffee on Thursdays from 7 am until 9:30 am. See the full lineup below, and make sure to follow The Porch on Twitter and Facebook for any changes.

Daily lunch is returning to weekdays at The Porch! We slowed things down for the winter, but with warmer weather on the way, we will be bringing back one truck each day to serve lunch, plus breakfast service on Thursdays. Because March weather can sometimes be fickle, please follow The Porch Twitter account for updates and changes.

Two notes for September: There will be no service on Monday, September 5th due to Labor Day, and this month we've added breakfast on Thursdays from Schmear It.
