August 2018 at The Porch at 30th Street Station

This August we are welcoming a new schedule of food trucks and PECO Performances to The Porch at 30th Street Station. Please note that neither Schmear It nor the Pub at The Porch will operate out of the pop-up in the middle of the space, although Schmear It will bring their truck out for breakfast service on the western edge of the space.

• July 31st: Stevie and the Bluescasters (12:30 - 1:30 pm)
  • Acoustic blues trio mixing different styles of blues, gospel, and country
• August 7th: Joshua Park (12:30 - 1:30 pm)
  • With vibrant, powerful vocals and superbly layered instrumentation, Joshua Park captivates his audience one song at a time as he lives in every word. 
• August 15th: The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble (Noon - 1 pm)
  • Philadelphia's premier all-female professional tap company dedicated to raising the profile of rhythm tap by creating both original choreography and improvised works.  
• August 23rd: Tinta Roja Duo (12:30 pm - 1:30 pm)
  • Argentine guitarist Alejo de los Reyes and US bandoneonist Shinjoo Cho present music from the Pampas to Buenos Aires. 
• August 30th: Magdaliz and her Trio Crisol 
  • Spanish for melting pot, Crisol is an ensemble dedicated to the interpretation of a variety of folk and traditional music genres from Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela, and other parts of Latin America and the Caribbean.
