University City Dining Days Returns July 20th - 30th, 2023

University City Dining Days, University City District’s popular “3 courses, 3 prices” promotion, returns for ten days this summer, running July 20^th-30^th. 25 University City dining destinations will offer pre-fixe three-course lunch and dinner specials for $20, $30 or $40.

Dining Days is part of UCD’s Summer in University City programming, which includes outdoor movies, pop-up performances, and the Baltimore Avenue Dollar Stroll. University City’s culinary scene is one of the most eclectic and robust in Philadelphia, with a mix of family-owned restaurants and hotspots run by renowned local and national chefs and restaurateurs. University City is also known for its wide mix of international establishments, with restaurants specializing in cuisines from India, Ethiopia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Jamaica, and more.

Dining Days offers neighbors a chance to sample food from their local restaurants at a fixed price, and draws visitors to University City’s ever-expanding dining scene during the typically slower summer months. Business at participating restaurants increases substantially during the promotion, so reservations are strongly encouraged. Popular restaurants such as White Dog, Walnut Street Cafe, Booker's, and Dim Sum House are again participating.

This year University City District is kicking off Dining Days at the July 19^th edition of Garden Jams at the Penn Museum. Stop by the Penn Museum’s outdoor summer concert series for a performance by De Tierra Caliente, a Latin fusion whose catchy melodies and Latin, Caribbean, and Brazilian rhythms inspire an irresistible North/South American party. Reps from University City District will be on hand raffling gift cards and giving out swag to visitors. Tickets are $15 for general access, $5 for PennCard holders, and free for Penn Museum members.
